Epoch African Foundation was founded with a vision to ensure that the rights of women and girls become an integral part of everyday life. Our mission is to achieve this through advocacy, capacity building, evidence-based research, innovative interventions, and collaborative partnerships.

I will like to bring to your attention, few of our areas of interventions in the course of the year. We recently had a programme on sickle cell where we had Nigerian and other participants from different states in Nigeria including, Gombe, Abuja, Kaduna, Jos, Lagos, Kwara, Ogun, Ghana, United Arabs Emirates and the United Kingdom. We also had a community outreach programme on breast cancer in which we hosted over fifty women and girls in a rural area of Lagos to free education, free examinations, Free clothes and welfare materials distribution and free tests. We have other programmes on free cervical cancer screening scheduled to take place in another community in Ogun State and the FCT, targeted at catering for over two hundred women and girls. In addition, we have had empowerment programmes on embellishment and textiles covering participants from different states in Nigeria and other parts of Africa, where over one hundred women were empowered economically and free clothes given to the needy.

Few other impactful programs we have had include Embedding young women and Girls into Technology under the Ogun State Government, MSME clinic under the Federal Government, with Grants Given to a number of Business owners to support their business, among other interventions.

Additionally, we have in the pipeline, empowerment programmes and training on different skills areas such as catering, fashion and textiles, export products, targeted at empowering the women to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the African Free Continental Trade Agreement ( AfCFTA).

We are eager to do more across the country and continent, working with the Federal Government her ministries, departments and agencies and the international partners to meet the challenges of the Nigerian and African populace in line with the developmental agenda of the country and region.

We recognize the importance of collaboration and partnerships in achieving our vision. We aim to forge strategic alliances with governments, civil society organizations, international institutions, and stakeholders to maximize our collective impact. By growing cross-sectoral partnerships and knowledge-sharing, we aim to create a broad-based movement for gender equality and women's empowerment in Africa.

Our thematic areas, encompassing Health and Environment, Education/Training, Entrepreneurship/Business Development, Research, and Advocacy, reflect our commitment to addressing critical challenges and opportunities facing women and girls while contributing to broader societal goals.
